PERIODS OF BOOKING
Groups may arrive after 3pm and are required to depart by noon except by prior
arrangement with the caretaker.
RULES OF OCCUPANCY
1. All parties must have an adult leader responsible for their members.
2. The camp caretaker will issue keys and instructions to the leader of the party.
3. Occupants must make themselves conversant with the fire emergency
procedures, fire exits, location of the fire pumps. Fire drill practice must be
carried out.
4. No loud noise or music permitted after midnight.
5. Candles, matches and all naked lights are strictly prohibited in all the
buildings. No smoking in buildings. Fireworks by permission only and not
during a Fire Ban.
6. Group leaders will be responsible for general behaviour, for breakages or
damage to property during the time of occupancy.
7. Every care must be taken by groups to avoid damage to buildings and
contents. Damage is to be reported to caretakers.
8. The lighting of fires is permitted in the places provided only, and no fire is to
be left unattended.
9. The committee reserves the right to refuse any group of booking.
10. Groups clean the camp on departure. A check list will be provided. Cleaning
gear and cloths are provided for this by the camp. We reserve the right to
charge a cleaning fee of $20 per hour if cleaning is not done to a sufficient
standard.
11. Animals are not permitted at the camp.
EMERGENCY PROCEDURE
The camp has a sprinkler system throughout all sleeping areas and the kitchen dining
area. Smoke alarms are situated in these areas as well as in the hall.
It is the group leader’s responsibility to be familiar with all fire fighting
equipment, to carry out fire drill practice and to ensure that all exits are kept clear at
all times.
In the event of a power failure, emergency lighting will come on automatically.
In the event of an emergency, a senior person will take charge.
The emergency assembly point is at the flag pole by the tennis court
Prompt evacuation of the buildings is of utmost importance.

1. Sleeping bag with sheet (for covering vinyl mattress) and a blanket (Sleeping
bag inside a large plastic rubbish bag and named).
2. Pillow and pillowcase
